When a recipe includes Champagne...It has to be GOOD

First let me clarify, Sparkling Wine not Champagne
(I don't want to get in trouble with France).



I started with these ingredients...

Added one handy helper.......

Then another handy helper!.....

The girls had there own helper....

This was our final product.....

The girls and I made this Sparkling wine pound cake today. This was our first attempt at a pound cake that is Margaret Anne friendly and I must say it passes the taste and look test.

Can anyone guess what we had for an afternoon snack?
