Does Lilly Kate Need a Haircut???

I know most of you will have an opinion but here is the thing, I want her bangs to grow out and I love those curls so ...
Do I give her a trim? (don't worry momma I would take her the beauty parlor)
Do I cut it in a cute bob like MA's? ( did I tell y'all MA got her hair cut, I will post some pictures)
Do I leave it like it is and cut it in a few months?

P.S. we have to put clips in her hair to keep it out of her eyes but she is almost able to put it behind her ears.
(like she keeps it there, ha ha)

May the Lord Bless you and Keep you....at school!

Well school finally started here! Margaret Anne and Lilly Kate's Mom's Day Out and Pre-School did not start until the first week of September. Boy where we all happy for it to start including Momma. This was Lilly Kate's first time going to Mom's Day Out and I was a little sad at first then I realized how much I could get done with no children in the car. Can you believe I actually forgot how much you could get done by yourself?

We started the day off with one of my favorite bible verses..Number 6:24-26 if you grew up Methodist you will know this one by heart it is what we said at the end of every MYF..May the Lord Bless you and Keep you. May the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious unto you. May the Lord lift His countenance upon you and give you peace.

Then some good breakfast, notice I started taking pictures of Lilly Kate before eating.

Margaret Anne and Kit in their matching nightgowns from American Girl

She was running for the playground not the front door.

Margaret Anne in a skirt of course! She will only wear skirts, it is a rare day to see her in anything else. (Pre-School)

They both had a great start to school and love their teachers I pray this trend continues.

P.S. I have a funny story for y'all....Margaret Anne I went to breakfast the day after I had her pre-school orientation and I was telling her who was in her class. One of the boys names is Joseph and she kept asking me all about Joseph and she wanted to know what his mommy's name was. Then at Hobby Lobby she was telling everyone that Joseph was in her class. I could not figure out why she was so stuck on Joseph. (Can any of you see where this is going? because I did not) When we picked up Lilly Kate from MDO she looked at her and said..."Did you know that Jesus' Daddy is going to be in my class". I almost had to pull over, I did not know whether to laugh or cry.
When we met Joseph on Friday she looked at him and said your not Jesus' Daddy your just a little boy.

4 Years Ago Today

9/9/05

Margaret Anne Adair was born 4 years ago and my how time has flown!
She has gone around telling everyone all day that she is 4 today, then she turns around and says "Momma, I'm still 4 right?" Like someone might take that big number 4 away form her.

She wanted a barbie cake and she wanted it to be ice-cream(soy ice cream). This was my first attempt at an ice cream cake and note to self take out of freezer before dinner so it will be ready to slice!

This was her reaction to every present and then she would say that is just what I wanted!

Her first set of wheels (besides a stroller)

The Windy City

Well we did not get to experience the windy part of the windy city but we sure did enjoy...American Girl, Hot Dogs, The Lake, Friends and a lot of War Eagles!!

We headed out on Friday night with our friends the Pantanos. It was so cute all 3 girls where in the back of the van. What a great trip to take with friends especially ones who have been a lot and knew where to go!

The girls could not wait until Saturday when we headed downtown to the American Girl Store. Margaret Anne bought her doll some new clothes and we even got Lilly Kate her own doll. They have what is called the bitty baby and she loves her. I have to say that the AG store is quite an experience and one you should try with or without a little girl in tow but be sure to bring your pocketbook.

Guess what we heard in Chicago...We were jumping on an elevator and I saw this guy with an Auburn shirt and I said War Eagle. I was telling Patrick about it on the street when this girl hears me and says War Eagle. Then while crossing the street this guy chases us down and says did I hear you say War Eagle and I said yes. Can you guess what he said to me? .....War Eagle!!!
I knew I liked Chicago.

Here are a few pictures from the trip.....We can get a picture of her that is not blurry but we have to put the camera on sports action selection or this is what we get!

Happy Birthday Patrick

Happy Birthday Patrick aka Daddy!
We Love you!

This is how Patrick wanted to spend the day, with his girls. So... we headed to the zoo! Where else can you monkey around on your Birthday.

P.S. We are headed to Chicago for the weekend to celebrate Margaret Anne, Isabella and Patricks Birthdays. Remember the American Girl Doll MA got before the hospital? Well I'm sure she will have a full wardrobe by the time we come home.
